Meet up with your personal Crown Tours host and driver right outside of your centrally located hotel in Rome. Sit back, relax and maybe even catch a few more z’s, in the comfort of a luxury air-conditioned vehicle we’ll set off for the Campania region. 

Once we arrive at Pompeii, it’s straight into the action. Are you ready to uncover the history of a city frozen in time? From the intricate patchwork of streets, to the perfectly preserved temples, basilicas and baths, a walk though Pompeii with one of our local experts is sure to bring the ruins to life right before your very eyes. Take a break from exploring and stop for lunch at a local osteria in the city of Pompeii (please note, the cost of lunch is not included), then it’s on to our next site.  

The place where it all began…Mount Vesuvius. Our private driver and host will escort you via car to the summit trail starting point. Then, for the last 2km its your chance to go solo, hike the trail to the top and experience views you never thought possible from the volcanos crater. Pan the Naples skyline and grab your camera, this is sure to be one of the most unique photo spots in your entire trip!

Back in the car, we’ll make our way back to Rome, the trip will come to an end once you’ve been dropped off at your local hotel. We aim to have you back in the centre by 18:30pm, traffic permitting of course, leaving you enough time to sit back, unwind and even make dinner plans.
